Q3, Week 9

 Welcome to week 9 and hello, March!  We have two more weeks to go in our quarter.  Friday, March 11th is the last day of the quarter and also a half day.  The afternoon of Thursday, March 10th is our field day.  Look to your teacher and parent liaisons for more details on field day.


This Week's Learning:

Math: Reviewing Unit 7 Concepts, Multiplying and dividing 2 place-decimals by a 1-digit number, solve word problems using multiplication of decimals, dividing decimals.

ELA:  Analogy-  fish:__________ :: horse : centaur 

Literature: Teacher Read-Aloud- "The Princess and the Goblin".  Please have your child send in "Carry On, Mr. Bowditch" for Q4.

Composition: 5 Paragraph Essay Writing and Editing, test preparation.

Grammar: Daily Grammar Practice, ordering adjectives, sentence dictation.
