Thank you
so much for those that brought us paper towels!!! Some of our scholars are beginning to
have allergy issues and we are experiencing more than usual runny noses, so
we are still in need of tissues. If you
can help us out, we would be so grateful.
MATH
This week we will be finishing chapter 3 on division. Our lessons this week will be on word
problems with division. Our chapter 3
test will be THURSDAY, Oct. 6th.
Scholars that are not proficient in their multiplication facts are struggling
with division, so practicing those multiplication facts each night is so
important. On Thursday, the day of the
test students will need to turn in their blue workbook with Ch. 3 pages
complete and corrected with red pencil. Going
back and correcting and looking at problems previous corrected is an excellent
way to prepare for the test.
SCIENCE
We will continue our magnetism and electricity unit by learning about the difference between a serries and parallel circuit as well as about conductors and insulators
