CURRICULUM:
ELA:
The last poem of Quarter 2 is "Norman and Saxon". It is due on Wednesday, December 13th, but we encourage students to perform as early as they choose.
LITERATURE We are reading more chapters of Robin Hood this week. This is to complete the tale and set us up for Robin Hood Essays at the end of Quarter 2. Be sure your students have the correct edition of Robin Hood (Dover Evergreen Classics) for all of quarter 2.
We continue our COMPOSITION program with the writing of the Robin Hood 5-Paragraph Persuasive Essay by identifying if Robin Hood was a hero or not and providing textual proofs for our position. There is also a Journal Entry due on Friday 12/1.

Students should refer to these notes to do homework and writing assignments to include these types of sentences in summary and essay writing for the remainder of the year. WOL books will be collected for points for completion of chapter 7 on Friday before the Q2 Grammar Test #2.
